●怪しげな雲行きだ. ひと雨来るかもしれない. The weather looks doubtful. It might rain for a while. | It's uncertain weather. There might be a spot of rain.

・隣に画家を自称する怪しげな老人が住んでいる. There's a mysterious old man living next door to us who claims to be a painter.

・あの家には毎日怪しげな連中が集まってくる. A strange [suspicious] group of people gather at that house every day.

・怪しげな企業には就職したくない. I don't want to get a job in some dubious [shady] company. | I wouldn't like to work for some fly-by-night business.

・電話番をするだけで 1 日 5 万円くれるなんて, 怪しげな話だな. Fifty thousand a day for just sitting by the phone? There's something fishy about that. | They say they'll give you 50,000 yen a day just for watching the phone? That sounds suspicious (to me).
